Birthdays, Beginnings, and Bill Cosby

My first official post for this blog, and it's the eve of my birthday...
I don't know whether to rant about how clueless I am or babble about how confused I am. At this point in time, I should be recording my thoughts in my journal. However, due to extreme laziness, I am not able to get out of bed, turn on the lights, and begin writing.Because tomorrow just so happens to be one of the most important birthdays in my life, I have made some resolutions.
I will try to:
~be happy
My parents would like me to:
~study harder
~be more serious
~be more responsible
~behave like an angel... a young, imprisoned angel...
Basically, they expect, from me, the perfection they always have. I know I will forever be a failure in their eyes, but, in the words of Bill Cosby:
On a lighter note, please blow out the candles and enjoy a piece of cake!
